Help Desk Ticketing for Customer Service

NOTE:  Beginning December 11, 2017, all communication and customer service requests regarding the Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency are made through the TEA Help Desk.  Requests cannot be submitted via email. 

The Help Desk ticketing system is for all correspondence regarding the Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency.  There are six options for the type of correspondence:

  • (GED, HiSET, TASC)
    Certificates should be verified or purchased from the online search application at .   If no records are found, request additional research by completing this ticket; 

  • Parents or guardians can enter student information to clear their 16 or 17-year-olds to test. The previously used forms are no longer required.  Adult educators and third parties will be able to complete the ticket and upload a signed consent form as another option; 

  • Request updates or corrections to your personal information and upload personal documentation securely;

Submitting personal information and attachments is secure.  To avoid delays, please provide all requested information, including complete social security number and date of birth (where applicable).
